Hello! Was told that this question is better suited to ask here in a note a couple days ago.

Been looking around Riga and noticed that a few public transport stops have a node next to the road with all the tags but no routes relations associated with them, and then a node on the road/footpath that does have routes but not any other tags.
Majority of stops elsewhere around the city just have the node next to the road with tags and routes.
Which option is correct, and should non-matching ones be corrected somehow?

Examples - Struktoru iela stop (#429366232) vs node next to it (11109232876)
Meža prospekts bus stop (4196908403) vs node next to it (## 11105808750)

(P.S. Sorry for writing in English, but that's hopefully still better than forcing y'all to decode my broken written Latvian)

Hi! Both those examples are errors. I am not 100% sure what the original elements/layout was. But the relations should be on the same element as the highway=bus_stop . iD editor (and JOSM if relations aren't transferred) don't really correctly move relations if a point is "extracted" from the way as a stand-alone. This is probably where this error came from. I'll try and fix these.

Regarding the language, similar as discussed in another thread - please feel free to use this as a chance to practice Latvian as you please. Same as with OSM editing, there is no shame in making mistakes at all, we all learn by making mistakes.
And it being broken is no issue at all :)
